Threadlockers

Threadlockers, or threadlocking adhesives, prevent fasteners loosening under vibration, thermal expansion, bending or improper torque. Threadlockers form a strong bond that prevents loosening, ensuring assemblies retain clamp load over time. Applied between two mating threads, these liquid threadlocker adhesives secure nuts, bolts, and threaded fasteners in place.

Threadlock Colors

• Red = Highest Strength, may require heat to separate
• Blue = Medium Stregth, hand tool separatation
• Green = Med-High Strength, electrical connector and set screw applications, hand tool separation
• Purple = Low Stregth, alumnimum and brass applications, simple tool separation
