Description
- This tool set is for turning the crankshaft pulley and auto tensioner when replacing the belt in Suzuki Spacia (MK53S), Wagon R (MH55S), and other vehicles equipped with mild hybrid (R06A engine + WA05A ISG) released in February 2017 or later.
- It allows for reliable work in an optimal working posture even in confined workspaces. *Removing and installing the water pump drive belt requires three separately sold Suzuki special tools (Drive Belt Remover 09991-07410, Drive Belt Installer No.2 09991-07440, Drive Belt Installer No.3 09991-07470).

ISG stands for Integrated Starter Generator (motor and generator). While the general guideline for replacing a drive belt is 35,000 km, the ISG places a greater load on the belt because it provides power assist during starting and generates electricity during braking (regenerative braking), so earlier replacement is recommended. In particular, newer vehicles equipped with ISGs, to which this kit applies, place an even greater load on the belt due to the higher output of the ISG, and it is expected that the number of vehicles reaching the recommended belt replacement mileage will increase, leading to more work opportunities.

You can work on it without putting your hands into the engine compartment!
By using the extra-long 410mm straight box wrench and tensioner hold pin, you can safely work without having to reach your hands into the narrow gap between the vehicle frame and the engine.
Tools won't interfere with the engine or frame!
The combination of the adapter and socket allows access to the hexagonal part of the crank pulley, which is located in a recessed area, while also achieving a height that does not interfere with other parts even in narrow spaces.
Work can now be done with fewer tools!
The crank pulley and auto tensioner, both necessary for ISG drive belt replacement, can be rotated with a single wrench. This allows for efficient work with fewer tools.
