The jointed hook spanners with cold protection handle from the 76 series are used for loosening or tightening lock nuts. Jointed hook spanners are characterized by a special design that allows access to hard-to-reach areas. The benefit lies in the articulated part of the spanner. The swivel mechanism between the handle and the head of the spanner allows the angle of application to be adjusted flexibly. This facilitates working in tight spaces or on screws that are in an inconvenient position. These nuts often have recesses or notches specifically designed for the use of hook spanners. The hook spanners engage in these recesses, allowing a rotational movement. Such spanners are used, for example, in mechanical engineering or the automobile industry, especially for components that are under high stress and require strong securing, such as in transmissions or shaft connections. The hook spanners from KUKKO contain a label with the SKF table for clear allocation, indicating which spanner is compatible with which nuts. Suitable for N-, AN-, KMK-, KMFE-, and KMT-nuts as well as for all nuts according to DIN 1804.
