The joint hook spanners with cold protection handle of series 76 are used for loosening or tightening lock nuts. These nuts often have recesses or notches that are specially designed for the use of hook spanners. Joint hook spanners are characterized by a special design that allows access to restricted areas. The benefit lies in the joint part of the spanner. The swivel mechanism between the handle and the head of the spanner allows for flexible adjustment of the application angle. This facilitates work in tight spaces or on screws that are in an unfavorable position. The hook spanners engage in these recesses, allowing a turning motion. Such spanners are used, for example, in mechanical engineering or the automobile industry, especially for components that are under high stress and require strong securing, such as in transmissions or shaft connections. The hook spanners from KUKKO contain a label with the SKF table for clear assignment of which spanner is compatible with which nuts. Suitable for N-, AN-, KMK-, KMFE-, and KMT-nuts as well as for all nuts according to DIN 1804.
